Capital Campaign: The parish began its capital campaign to erect a new church. Many of the fund-raising committee members are current knights. All knights are encouraged to participate in the various activities that are necessary to raise the funds to begin the construction project. Anyone wishing to donate to the church project can send their donations to:
State Convention: The State Convention was a great success. It passed a resolution in support of our priests. The council was number 1 in its division for the Tootsie Roll Drive. Please visit the Saint Fidelis Church at Victoria, Kansas to see a magnificent church built early last century.
Officer Elections: The below officers were elected in the May meeting:
The Financial Secretary and Lecturer are appointed positions and will be announced at a later date.
Congratulations to all of the knights who volunteer for these important assignments and for future assignments.
Relocation of Plaques: The council will consider moving the plaques to the hallway in a conspicuous location.

Emblems: All knights are encouraged to proudly display emblems and symbols at all times.
Twister Donation: The council approved a $200 donation to a group of youths who will participate in a regional jump rope contest at Houston. This group supports the Jump Rope for Heart fundraisers to donate to the American Heart Association.
Digital Camera: Brothers Hingular and Walker will look into the cost and features of a digital camera to be stored in the office.
Do participate in the church fundraising activities. We almost halfway to the stated goal of $1.25 million.
